Ghulam Ali (conceived 1940) is a Pakistani ghazal artist of the Patiala gharana conceived in the town of Kaleke in the Sialkot District of Punjab (now in Pakistan). He fits in with a musical family, his dad was a vocalist and a sarangi player who launched Ghulam Ali to music from his youth. Ali's dad named him after Bade Ghulam Ali. At 15, he turned into an understudy of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, an expert of the Patiala Gharana of Hindustani music. Because of the occupied timetable of Bade Ghulam Ali, he was prepared primarily by Bade Ghulam Ali Khan's three siblings, Barqat Ali Khan, Mubarak Ali Khan, and Amanat Ali Khan, in Lahore.
Ghulam Ali is considered as one of the best ghazal vocalists of his time.
