Jagjit Singh, conceived Jagmohan Singh, was a conspicuous Indian Ghazal vocalist, lyricist and musical performer. Known as the "Ghazal King", he picked up recognition together with his wife, an alternate prestigious Indian ghazal vocalist Chitra Singh in the 1970s and 1980s. A standout amongst the most skilled artistes of India, has with his lovely and just as capable wife Chitra Singh did something that will go down in the history books in the realm of music. Conceived on eighth February 1941 in Shriganganagar in Rajasthan, he prepared under Ustad Jamal Khan of the Senia Gharana. After graduation he came to Mumbai to attempt his fortunes in the music business. The principal undeniable Ghazal collection by the spouse wife group was "The Unforgettables" in 1976. This collection set new deals records and has been trailed by various ghazals and reverential/religious collections, all of which have gotten to be classics.
