Jaag aur dekh zara alamein veera'N mera
Subha ke bhes mein nikla hai gareeban mera

Band ankhein kiye youn jaag raha hu shab e gham
Keh unhein aye nazar kaab e fareeza'N mera

Mudatoun buay wafa aaye ge but khaanoun se
Ood ban ban keh jala hai dil e sozaa'N mera

Tumhein kiun madd e nazar ab hai kharabi iski
Tum tou kehte thay ke ghar hai dil e insaa'N mera

Par gayi kis nigaahe mutabasam Seemab
Hogaya harf e halak dafrat e ? mera
