Hussain Bakhsh Gullu

Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullu fits in with the renowned Patiala and Sham Chaurasi Gharana of Classical Music. He has a place with the group of Great Mastreos Ustad Salamat Ali Khan & Ustad Nazakat Ali khan. His two children Chand Khan & Suraj Khan are additionally acclaimed established & Thumri vocalists.

Baksh is a wonderful entertainer and is just as persuading in his conveyance of Indian Classical, Thumri (light-traditional) and Ghazals. He has made another style of ghazal singing which draws out the best components of established music, thumris and ghazals. Hai Dua Yaad Magar Ghazal By Hussain Bakhsh

Most of the Hussain Bakhsh's ghazals are always worth listening because of his way of delivering the verses and his painful voice both are awesome but some of his ghazals like "Hai Dua Yaad Magar Harf E Dua Yaad Nahi" are beyond perfection. Just like the previous ghazal I've uploaded of him, this one is also a example of what you call a perfect ghazal to. I simply love the poetry of it as well, written by Saghar Siddiqui. Its all about the emotions and feelings one has sometimes.

Hai dua yaad magar harf e dua yaad nahi
Meray nagmat ko andaz e nava yaad nahi

Main ne palkon se dar e yaar pe dastak di hai
Main woh sahil hoon jise koi sada yaad nahi

Main ne jin keh liye rahoun mein bichaya tha lahu
Hum se kahtein hain wohi ahad e wafa hogaye

Kaisey bhar aayein sar e shaam mein kisi ki ankhein
Kaisey tharrae charaghon ke ziya yaad nahi

Sirf dhundali sitaroun ki chamak dekhi hai
Kab hua kon hua kis se khafa yaad nahi

میرے نگمت کو اندازے نوا یاد نہیں 

میں نے پلکوں سے درے یار پر دستک دی ہے 

میں وہ ساحل ہوں جسے کوئی سدّا  یاد نہیں 

میں نے جن کے لئے رہوں میں بچایا تھا لہو 

ہم سے کہتیں ووہی عہدے وفا ہوگے

Tujhe kho kar bhi tujhe paon jahaan tak dekhu, a classical masterpiece from the legendary ghazal singer Hussain Baksh. This whole ghazal is an example of what you can call a perfect ghazal to.
